Phil Donkin - Walk Alone

The bassist had been planning a solo album for a long time, but embracing such a plan and then actually putting it into practice are two different things, admits Donkin. “It's one thing to play a solo in a song or introduce it with an intro on the bass. But I felt I could grow as a musician if I could find enough material for an entire album that would hold a listener's interest. That was the challenge for me.” (Klaeng Records, 2023)
