MIRNA BOGDANOVIĆ 

Three years after her German Jazz Prize-winning Awake, Mirna Bogdanović is back with her third studio album Glimmerence (release date: October 9th 2026, Berthold Records).

The title Glimmerence which refers to a state between love and illusion — when something feels incredibly realand beautiful, but simultaneously reveals itself to be fragile and fleeting. It is an emotional hybrid of yearning and waiting, anxiety and hope, external control and self-empowerment, disappointment and overcoming. 

In doing so, Bogdanović achieves an extraordinarily intense connection between the instrumental and lyrical functions of her voice. Surrounded by Povel Widestrand (piano), Peter Meyer (guitar), Igor Spallati (double bass), Philip Dornbusch (drums), and Wanja Slavin — who not only plays woodwinds and synthesizers but is also responsible for production — she has gathered a who’s who of the current Berlin jazz scene.

Glimmerence is a complex and deeply personal album, marking an exciting new chapter for Mirna Bogdanović.
