Erik Leuthäuser is a German jazz singer, composer, and arranger from Berlin, known for blending jazz, experimental pop, and electronic elements—often with lyrics in German.

Musically, he stands out for using his voice in a very modern, genre-crossing way: he moves between traditional jazz standards (like material from the “Great American Songbook”) and more experimental, contemporary work influenced by Berlin’s club and queer scenes.

He has released several albums since his 2015 debut, including Wünschen (2018), Sucht (2024), and Quality Time in NYC (2025).

Beyond music, his work often reflects personal and social themes, including queer identity, urban life in Berlin, and topics like addiction and vulnerability.

Erik Leuthäuser is part of a younger generation of European jazz artists pushing the genre toward more experimental, pop-influenced, and autobiographical directions.
